Place where my heart truly belongs: anywhere where happy people live, who appreciate and enjoy good food and laughter!

The most recent words of wisdom that struck me: Don't give advise unless you're asked for it!

Favorite food quote: "Don't f*** with the fish!"

I googled a lot about food blogs in general. Everybody writing about food out there as well as those reading it - love it. I am so no different. I am as passionate as most of those crazy people. I don't get tired of talking food, cooking and exploring it. As many as there are people out there in the happy world, there are those cooking and writing for them. If we click, we follow each other. If we don't - we move on searching for a new inspiration. If you like what I do - I will continue cooking my heart out for you and those like you!

I don't rememeber myself standing by the stove all the time since I was a toddler with my Mom or Grandma. Although my Grandma was the one who tought me how to make all kinds of dough and how to kneed. My Grandpa, who passed away when I was 6, tought me how to fringe the edges of dumplings so they look nice and don't leak while being boiled. My Mom tought me how to make perfect pancake batter - I do believe I was somewhere between 6 and 8 probably. I remember I couldn't get my head around the fact that she couldn't define how many tablespoons of flour exactly I need for a perfect pancake. She used to tell me I'll know when I get there. My Dad was the one to teach me how to make perfect crepes and flip them in the air. And I was hardly in my teenage years then. My family never settled for processed, frozen, semi prepped store bought foods, but neither were we very sophisticated in our choices due to rather poor selecation of ingredients at the time.

There were two choice at a table - take it or leave it. One very important thing it tought me that stuck with me for good is the respect for food.

When other people do yoga, meditate, read, watch a movie or go to spa in order to relax, I cook and take photos of my plates. That is my best form of meditation next to running.

If you are reading Raspberry Flavor once in a while or are just a passer by - you are always welcome to leave a note, comment or suggestion! I love learning from books, a variety of blogs and - not to forget - Youtube! But the experiences and lessons learned from other people are the most valuable!

Bon appétit!
